Well with all the controversy surrounding global warming and planetary resources, ponder the fact the the planet earth's diameter is only just under 8ooo miles!
six billion people and counting, the drive from NY to La approx 3000 miles, NY to London 5000 miles! That is it.
We only have so much of a planet folks. It is not an SUV but a smart car with limited resources and space. With this in the forefront of everyones mind, maybe we can move ahead with a more objective plan to save ourselves from ourselves and recruit a more intelligent populist effort to manage our resources wisely.

American Low Grade Political Infection, Future Shock, Teabaggers
I believe the Teabaggers are the pre-eminent example of Future Shock, the first of a series of books released by Alvin Tofller and also a documentary film narrated by Orson Welles
Together with the recent coup in Honduras mirrors the present state of a low grade political infection here in the western hemisphere. The influence of the political right and the insulation of the American congress and its president from the people are not far from outright facism. Until the people rise up and demand equal protection against the abuses of the facist state with an intelligent approach (as opposed to the raw tea party approach), we will be not heard.
